ledgr is research software for building and auditing backtests. It is not investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

Backtests are historical simulations. They can help you inspect assumptions and find mistakes, but they do not predict future performance. A strategy that looks good in a backtest can lose money in live trading.

ledgr’s snapshots, hashes, event logs, replay tools, and provenance records are research and auditability tools. They do not make a strategy compliant, certified, regulated, or suitable for any particular account, jurisdiction, or use.

You are responsible for your data, assumptions, decisions, risk controls, broker behavior, taxes, reporting duties, and any legal or regulatory obligations that apply to your work.
